Installation Methods

Web Safety can be installed using the following methods.

Installation Method	Description
On premises Virtual Appliance	This is the easiest, most common and recommended way to deploy Web Safety. You can deploy the virtual appliance in VMware ESXi and/or Microsoft Hyper-V. Just download the virtual appliance from our site, unpack it and deploy in your virtual hypervisor of choice.
Microsoft Azure	In this case, Web Safety is deployed to your Microsoft Azure subscription from the Azure Marketplace. The following extensive tutorial explains all needed steps for such deployment.
Amazon AWS	In this case, Web Safety is deployed to your Amazon AWS console from the Amazon Marketplace. The following extensive tutorial explains all needed steps for such deployment.
Manual Installation	In this case, Web Safety is deployed to the virtual machine or hardware server of your choice. This is the most complex step as you will need to run several installation scripts from the terminal console of a freshly installed Ubuntu Server Linux.
