Microsoft Hyper-V

This article explains how to download and deploy the Web Safety virtual appliance into Microsoft Hyper-V.

First, download a virtual appliance from our site and unpack it into a folder.

Right click on the downloaded archive and select Extract All to extract the contents of the virtual appliance.

Open Hyper-V Manager and click Import Virtual Machine.

On the wizard page, specify the path to folder Containing the virtual machine to import and click Next.

Select the virtual machine to import, websafety and click on the Next button.

Choose import type, for example, Copy the virtual machine and click Next again.

Leave everything as defaults on the Choose Folders wizard page, click the Next button.

Choose folders to store the virtual disks, then click the Next button.

Finally, check if everything is fine and click the Finish button.

Wait till the appliance is uploaded into Hyper-V and start it up.

Then, continue to configuring IP address of the virtual appliance.
