Manual Installation

It is strongly recommended to use version for Ubuntu 22.04 in all production environments. All new versions of Web Safety are being developed on this operating system. Functionality and acceptance tests running in our testing lab are based on Web Safety deployed on Ubuntu 22.04. All versions on virtual appliance, Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS virtual machines are also based on Ubuntu 22.04.

The next steps of the manual assume that you have installed an Ubuntu Server 22.04 LTS with working access to the Internet and you are able to login into that server as root user.

All scripts mentioned in this article can be downloaded from our GitHub repository. Please be sure to download and run scripts in core and ui sub folders one-by-one as specified on the next steps.
