Blocking Web Ads

Based on available and selected ad block subscriptions, Web Safety is capable of blocking excessive web ads and hiding ad placeholders on HTML pages. This setting can be adjusted for each policy.

Ad Rule

The following ad block subscriptions are supported by Web Safety. To enable or disable a subscription go to Admin UI / Web Filter / Definitions / Subscriptions / Block Advertisements .

The adblock definition files are the same subscription files which are used by AdBlockPlus browser plugin and governed by Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported license. See EasyList web site for more information.
